I am doing B.Tech in Dairy Technology. For higher education in this field, give information about colleges, admission procedure, fees and placement opportunities?

National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal(www.ndri.res.in) is one choice; for more log on to www.icar.org.in where you will get the list of institutions offering master's degree in dairy technology. Admission would usually be based on an entrance test. Fee details would be available on the above website but is unlikely to be high as the institutions are government run in general. Placement opportunities would be linked to the institutions, so you can find out from the specific institutions about their placement profile. The quality of your performance would determine the response of prospective employers whether you apply on your own or through the placement programme of any institution.

I am appearing in XII with PCM. I want to be a computer engineer. I have many choice IIT, DCE, AIEEE. But I want to go with NDA(engineering). Is there be engineering facility available in NDA. If available could I enter giving only entrance examination not medical because I have eye sight weak with (-1). So what I should to do?

You have the option of joining the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme for the Indian Army and 10+2 (Technical) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) of the Indian Navy. Look for the admission notification and check the medical and physical standards specified before you apply. There is no admission test for these two entrance processes. Details of the medical and physical standards for the NDA can be verified from the website www.upsc.gov.in depending upon your choice of service, army, air force or navy.

I just completed my B.Tech(ECE) this year. Sir I want to go in VLSI Design field can you please tell me about VLSI scope in India (About the VLSI Companies in India (small & big scale Companies)).For Big scale companies I am unablllllle to full fill the criteria as they have throughout 65% or 70% till B.Tech .As I have 66.1% in 10th ,56% in 12th ,60.2% in B.Tech. Please include my mail. Please if it then mail me.

There is good scope for VLSI professionals in India. You can locate suitable companies through an Internet search or by contacting recruitment agencies. As your prior academic record could be a stumbling block for joining prominent organizations, scale down your aspirations. Try to get into a reputed institution for VLSI course, then take the available job options, work for a few years, gain in experience and then look for movement to bigger and better organizations.

I have passed B.Tech. in printing Technology. Now I want to do a pg diploma in plastic technology by distance education. plz tell me which university is offering this type of course?

The Amity Institute of Microbial Sciences (AIMS), Sector 125, NOIDA offers the said course. As it is highly specialised field I wonder if any recognised institution provide it in distance mode. The various IITs located across the country have plastic technology as a part of curriculum in Chemical Technology graduation course.

hello sir/madam, At present I am studing in S.Y.B.Sc.I.T. and planning to do master degree in robotics engg. Am I eligible for giving the GATE examination, as i am doing B.Sc.I.T. and not B.E. in I.T.? i want to persue my masters degree from any of the IIT's only.

I have completed my 3 Years' Diploma course in Electronics & Telecommunication, under MSBTE, with 55% marks. Though my dream was to go for B.E., but the less percentage will not allow me to go for the direct second year admission in B.E. Now I am totally confused. I shall be grateful to you if you kindly advise me which course should be suitable to me for a better future. With warm regards.

You may choose an engineering programme for IGNOU (www.ingnou.ac.in) or go for a course like environmental science, disaster management. There is also job opportunities for electronics and telecommunication diploma holders in All India Radio, Doordarshan, BSNL and others. You can look out for vacancies in EN. These jobs have career progression prospects also.
