how much will be my salary if i had completed my icwai cuorse? and what are the fields i can work in?

The job being offered at any city would depend upon the capabilities and academic record of the applicant, his/ her ability to impress the recruiter, the volume of business of the employer and the level of responsibilities in the context of a given vacancy. In a vibrant commercial city, average salary of a Cost & Works Accountants would be around Rs 5 lakhs per annum, but there can be no standarisation.

I have done my B. Com Hons from C.U. with 49% marks only. After that I did my PGDBM(Finance) from an AICTE approved institution located at New Delhi. Presently, I am working in Audit team of a large concern. I did SAP(FICO) from a local institute in Kolkata.Should I go for C.S or for CWA or some other to get a good hike?

Without knowing the background of your PGDBM performance, whether it was a full time or part-time / distance learning programme, what your placement has been and your workplace achievements, it would be difficult to assess whether you really need to add value to your resume right now and how. If you wish to continue working, then it would not be possible to pursue either the CS or the CWA course. At this point, if you want to add value through further education in management accounting, then pursuing CIMA (www.cimaglobal.com) may be considered. However, you would be expected to progress now on the basis of the quality of your work experience and ability to apply your knowledge and professional qualifications, and to keep pace with changes in technology and work methodology. Your learning through on-the-job experience and through knowledge updation by attending professional seminars or reading professional journals, etc would be more effective than continuous addition of professional courses without any clear structure to your career plan. You may like to approach recruitment consultants to get a clearer picture of where you should be headed.
