The Director General, Fishery Survey of India, Botawala Chambers, Sir. P.M. Road, Mumbai -
400001 invites applications to fill up one post of Slipway Foreman (Group ‘B’- Non-Gazetted) in
the Pay Band (PB-2) of Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/ - at the Kochi Base of
Fishery Survey of India (Marine Engineering Division), Kochi by transfer on deputation, from the
officers under the Central Government.
a) i) holding analogous posts on regular basis:
OR
ii) with five years regular service in the posts in the pay scale of Rs. 1400-2300/2600 (prerevised - as per the recommendation of IV th Pay Commission) or equivalent in the parent
department; and
b) Possessing the educational qualification and experience prescribed as under:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent;
OR
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute or equivalent with 2 years
experience in Marine Engineering Workshop/Dockyard/Slipway.
The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held
immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of
the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years. The maximum age limit for
appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of
applications.

so as to reach within 60 days and the forwarding Ministry/Departments/Competent Authority
