IT-Software
Sir, I am MCA from IGNOU. sir i want to guildeline to you,i am working with construction company as a Technical Assistant from 5 years. my role is administration related. but now i want change my profile in software company. but i would not decide what to do or what not to do. I am fresher with MCA.

You may start looking for a suitable opportunity in some IT company on the basis of your MCA Degree. If you could spot some good opportunity in the IT field in a Construction company or engineering company in a real estate company, it will be better for you since the basic knowledge of operations of a company helps a software engineer in devising suitable codes to fulfill the IT requirements.

i m doing PGDCA, after do PGDCA what can i do MCA/MBA(IT). i m confuse what can i do, and please tell me after PGDCA, how many year of MCA.

MCA is usually a three year degree course but in some cases it may be possible to get lateral entry into the second year of MCA for candidates who have completed PGDCA. MBA IT would lead to managerial responsibilities in various industries, while MCA would lead to software development and related opportunities in the IT industry as also in other industries in their IT department. You have to choose the programme as per your career goals and abilities.

Hello sir, I'm a BE mechanical final year student. I would like to learn some design softwares like Pro-E,Catea etc. Kindly suggest the best one and the best institues which offer those courses along with the good placements.

These are usually short term courses and hence may not offer scope for direct placement. You have to find out locally (wherever you are located) or in a prominent location nearby where such courses are being conducted. Once you have identified the institutions, either through word-of-mouth or through admission notifications in prominent dailies, you should also check out the quality of training and potential for placement by direct enquiry or feedback from students there. Find out also from your seniors who are working in fields where this knowledge is required how relevant it is to have taken up such courses.

I am B.TECH(IT) final year student also selected for a software company.I want to do certification course like SUN JAVA certification course ,Microsoft certification course, oracle certification course.please tell me which one will be best for my career in this time.

It would be difficult to compare the differenet certification courses. All of them equip in specialization in different domains and it dpends on you as to which domain appeals to you the most. Career wise and job opportunity wise, there is not much that separates each of the courses. MCSE , CCNA and other online Certifications coupled with field experience and/or related degrees are an excellent (and sometimes essential) means to get your foot in the door and ultimately get you an increased salary. It makes you a complete Network professional to start with.

can i do m-teck after compleating MCA? if yes how can i do ? please say me the procedure ? can i do phd on computrer application please say somthink about it.

You may be able to do M Tech after MCA depending upon the academic requirements of the admitting institute. You would, then, have to appear for GATE for admission to most institutions offering M Tech. You can do a Ph D in computer applications right after MCA.

You should have job opportunities in the software development companies/ product development companies. Internet should be your primary source of search for job positions apart from the vacancy circulars in newspapers, Employment News and placement agencies. Regarding placement assistance provided by C-DAC, please contact the Placement Coordinators at the respective ATC or write to: Advanced Computing Training School 12, Thube Park, Near Sancheti Hospital, Shivaji Nagar, Pune - 411005 Telephone 020 - 25503100, 25503101,25503102 Fax 020 - 25503131 e-Mail acts@cdac.in Website http://acts.cdac.in

Sir, I am a diploma holder in computer science and engg from government polytechnic, Jharkhand. I want to do DOEACC'B' level. Sir, please tell me is it a good option for me. I also want to know that what is its market value, is it is equal to MCA. What are the opportunities in government and private sector for 'B' level? Also tell me what are the other option for me?

It is considered equivalent to MCA .Its market value would, however, be linked to the quality of your performance , the reputation of the institution among prospective recruiters and your location. Being located in cities and states where IT companies are present in larger numbers would automatically throw up wider employment opportunities. Government and public sector undertakings would be recruiting through written tests and interview, while the private sector would recruit either from campuses of reputed institutions or through recruitment consultants or directly from the public domain. You could aim for teaching and research also. Banks, various financial institutions, and all types of organizations recruit software personnel other than the IT companies. Your prospects would depend a lot on how wide you spread your job search.
