(Kavya Jain)

First you should complete your graduation so as fulfill the minimum eligibility required for appearing in the CAT exam. Whether You should do BBA,BCA or B.COM, it all depends on your areas of interestes and aptitude. A suggestion worth considering could be to do BCA ( distance education format) along with some part time job considering your financial condition. Simultaneously You should also enroll for BCOM through correspondence since it shall help you in having a better command over the questions likely to be asked in the CAT and other MBA entrance exams.

You can check the websites of Delhi University (www.du.ac.in), The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi(http://www.ilidelhi.org ) and of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi (www.ipu.ac.in) to explore possibilities. If the purpose is to pursue a career in this field, you should have a degree in law first, and if the purpose is to gain additional knowledge for a specific purpose, then going through relevant textbooks may also help. You may also check directly with the local law colleges whether they offer any such course. Suggestions are indicative.

Is there any scope for GIS and Remote sensing in india, where we can get jobs in this field? especially in hyderabad.

There is scope for GIS and Remote Sensing but mostly for those with tertiary degrees (postgraduation and above). Obviously, in a high tech field, there would not be too many openings coming up regularly, so you need to keep track of the recruitment notifications. Also, post your resume on job sites.

I am doing production engg I really don't know about its career prospects, and I just don't know where these engg r required in industry so kindly send me detail information about this branch of engg.also if want to go for preparation for IAS how can I access to that .and what r the subjects which I have to opt for.

Production engineers develop and improve manufacturing techniques and are responsible for designing production systems to ensure that products can be manufactured to the specified design, in the right quantities, at the right price and by the required date. Hence, the demand for production engineers could span several manufacturing industries. For the IAS preparation, you need to visit www.upsc.gov.in to review the pattern of examination, the syllabi of the various subjects and then take a final decision about which optional subjects would be suitable for you. You should choose subjects in which you can sustain your interest over a period of two years or more and for which you can get proper guidance and adequate material for study and reference.

I've done graduation from PGDAV College. I had read the subjects were Hindi, Eng, Eco, Pol. Sci.. Sir, I am willing to service in Govt. Sector. I have been given severely time various recruitment exams, but no successe. Now I am preparing for SSC Matric Level Exam, which has to be given in month of July, 2006. I am very week in Maths, and study upto Matric level. Moreover I've done one year Computer ( O Level )Course from Delhi Govt. Affilated Institute.

I am unable to understand what your query is actually. If you are weak in Mathematics, perhaps you need to get some tutoring in the areas of maths tested in the SSC Matric Level exam. If you are a graduate, you could also try for the Combined Graduate level examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission and examinations like the Bank Probationary Officers exam, etc.

I have completed graduation(B.A)in second division . & know I want to do M.B.A . But my English language is not so strong , whether it will create any problem in my course or not .Please suggest remedial measure to improve my language.

If you are not proficient in English, then trying for MBA would be tough and you would also find it difficult to tackle the group discussion and personal interview for admission to MBA, as these are also conducted in English. It would be more appropriate to try for the examinations that have English language as a qualifying paper only. Along these lines would be the Bank Probationary Officers examination. Indicative example. However, you should also invest time and effort in reading English regularly, practising writing and speaking. A basic English language course would help.
