what is the validity of courses done in universities like Amity, Rai, and Icfai. Are they considered to be valid for appearing for government jobs or to appear in entrance exams?
If the universities you are considering are not listed on the UGC website www.ugc.ac.in you have to know that the qualifications you acquire would not be valid under the formal educational system. For appearing for the government services only qualifications from UGC recognized universities would be considered valid.

DIVING
It was in mid January 2006 that the Commercial Diving course commencing in March conducted by Indian Navy at Diving School Kochi was announced. Male Indian citizens more than 18 years of age and less than 28 years of age as on the given date who have passed class 10th exam securing 50% or more marks or passed class 12th exam(fluent either in Hindi or in English) are eligible to apply.. Candidates should be a good swimmer with a good physical stamina with a medical certificate attached. The approximate cost mentioned was Rs 98700. Completed applications should be submitted to Officer-in-charge Diving School, INS Venduruthy, Naval Base, Kochi-682004.Look out for the next notification around the same time.

The detail provided by you is insufficient as you have not mentioned your field of interest or subject for persuing the Management Course. However, there are various IITs and Institutions offering short term courses in various disciplines. You may choose the discipline and inquire about the required qualification. If the Journalism course you opt for is equivalent to Bachelor Degree then you can do it and appear for Civil Services as well. Please ensure that the Journalism course you are applying for is equivalent to Bachelor Degree or not. After completing PG Diploma in counselling, you may work as & counsellor. Counsellors help individuals with decisions, problems, and concerns. They assist people to understand better by explaining options, setting goals, and taking action. Their duties vary depending on the client and the work setting and thus they are known by different names. Counselling psychologist uses various techniques (interviewing, observation, questionnaires, surveys, and testing) to advise people on how to deal with problems of everyday living and help them make changes for the better. Counselling psychologists can work in a variety of capacities including crisis intervention, rehabilitation, guidance within a direct care facility, as well as private practice. Employment Counsellors work with individuals in developing job- search skills, by evaluating their education, training, job history, interests, skills and personal traits, and apply them to a job search. They may also teach job-hunting skills like resume writing and interviewing skills. Industrial counsellors work with industrial labour to help those working in factories cope with the mental and emotional problems of factory fatigue and to improve relations with management. Medical or Health Counsellors help individuals deal with addictions and substance abuse, suicide, stress management, problems with self- esteem, issues of mental and emotional health, and family and marital problems. They work closely with mental health specialists including psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers. Psychotherapists develop a skilled relationship with clients in order to explore the underlying causes of their emotional conflicts or behavioural difficulties. Rehabilitation counsellors deal with the impact of disabilities on peoples' lives. They may counsel people with disabilities resulting from birth defects, illness or disease, accidents, or the stress of daily life. They evaluate the strengths and limitations of individuals, provide personal and vocational counselling, and may arrange for medical care, vocational training, and job placement. School and College Counsellors help students identify their abilities and interests, develop academic plans, and explore career options. They may conduct various tests like interest, personality, and aptitude tests to find out the best career option.
Councellors work in private, quiet, and comfortable offices, reflecting the need for confidential and frank discussions with clients. May work with other professionals such as medical practitioners, psychologists, and social workers as part of a health management team. They work in schools, colleges, public or private agencies, NGOs, hospital and nursing homes to rehabilitate patients, or in private practice.
