I would like to become a certifified financial planner. But I understand that there is no authorised centre of Financial Planning Board of India here. Therefore, I would like to know other than this institution, whether there is any other similar authorised body, private or govt., conducting such courses (CFP)on a regular basis or through distance education mode. I would also like to know whether there is any institution conducting courses on Stock Market Trading through distance education. My qualification is M.A. in philosophy. My profession is Stock Market Trader.

Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) India (www.fpsb.co.in) is a Public-Private Enterprise and a Professional Standards Setting body for Financial Planners in India. FPSB India appoints Education Providers to deliver the CFP Certification Education Program to the students. The students need to complete study of CFP Curriculum offered by an Authorised Education Provider through Distance learning or Class room intervention. Your question is not clear as to whether you want a job on compensatory ground. If that is the case the relevant information can be had from the department or Institution. Otherwise you complete your studies and look for a job that can be more promising than your rehabilitation scheme.

You have to assess your own abilities and interests, survey choices of higher education and related career opportunities to be able to shortlist suitable choices. If you are keen to specialize in forestry and look for teaching, consulting ,research and advisory positions, then MSc would be ideal. However, if you want to look for wider and more varied employment options, you can look for options such as MBA Agribusiness Management, Forestry Management or pursue LLB or a regular MBA or look for technical writing, agri-journalism, and mass communication etc courses also. Examples are indicative.

I have done Bachelor of arts after that MBA JUN.08 in marketing (major)& IT (minor)from Rajasthan Tech.university still I am unemployed please suggest me further course in the same direction or field for job on which I have to look for.. what are the future prospects for me.
If the business school where you studied is not well known and your performance was not so good, then getting a job may not be easy. Coupled with that could also be the fact that you may not be able to track jobs very well or there may be a lack of jobs in the city where you are located. Another reason could be that you are not able to tackle recruitment interviews very well. You should review all these aspects to assess what could be the reason for your lack of success in seeking employment. A further course would be MPhil or PhD, but that may not necessarily give you a job either and it would take quite some time to complete. What you could do would be to take up a job in the corporate sector even if the status offered is not that of a management trainee and use your capabilities and work experience to propel you forward to the suitable jobs. You can look for marketing jobs across all industries and sectors without any barriers. Ensure that your interview performance is a well-prepared and rehearsed one.
