I am a Physiotherapist. I want to start my carrer as a government officer. I heard about the competitive exams and recruitement exams. What type of exams can i go on.Do i am eligible for what type of exams. How can i build up my career. How to apply. Please guide me.

As a graduate you would be eligible for a wide variety of competitive examinations by the Union Public Service Commission (www.upsc.gov.in), Staff Selection Commission (www.ssc.nic.in), the state public service commission in your state, the Probationary Officers' examinations for recruitment in to the various public sector banks, defence services, etc. You could track the maximum number of all India competitive examination notifications by going through the Employment News and additional local government options by going through the local/ regional dailies. The background you have may not be available as a subject for these competitive examinations for entry into the government, so you would need to brush up your general knowledge and basic numerical and reasoning ability. Where necessary you may have to add knowledge of other subjects. You could also try for the government jobs in the state health services in the government in your state. Indicative examples.

panjab university has started MBA(retail) & MBA(banking and insurance). Wat r career prospects in this field I have done BSc(hons)bioinformatics. Or should I go for Msc biotech or bioinformatics

Career prospects are good in both these fields. You have to consider which line of work is more suited to your abilities and temperament. If you are keen to pursue scientific research careers then MSc Biotech or Bioinformatics would be a good idea. However, you should also aim for admission to reputed universities and ensure a good performance to get a good launch into the job market. Being research oriented fields, keep in mind that a PhD would be desirable for long term growth prospects as a researcher.

Dear Sir, I am a post graduate (Botany) and working as SRF. Now i want to switch over to technical field. Could you suggest me a course related to my field.

Switching over to a technical course after a post graduation degree in Botany seems to be a difficult choice since there are not many courses in the relevant fields. You may look for M.phil or Ph.d in Biotechnology or research positions in Bio-technology or botanical sciences.

I am in 12th science (A) stream, i, would like some research field , kindly advise for course in line with, Regards, Mayuri

It is too early to decide about research as u know that the research is done after PG. So you choose the subjects according to your choice and interest at UG and PG levels and later on decide about the subject/topic of research again based on you capability, grasp of subject etc.
