Applications are invited for the following positions under DBT sponsored research project entitled. “ Conservation of Panax spp. In northeast India: Characterization of niche and genetic variability, mapping of potential distribution area, establishment of field gene bank and micropropagation “ under Prof. S.K. Barik, Prof .P Tandon and Prof.A.K.Misra.
1. Junior Research Fellows 2 nos. @ Rs. 12000/ pm + HRA for 1st and 2nd Years and @ Rs.14, 000/pm +HRA for 3 “ year.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc Degree with Minimum 60% marks in Botany/ Life Sciences /Agriculture/ Biotechnology/Environmental Science /Ecology/Bioscience/ Biochemistry.
Desirable Qualification: Specialization in Ecology /Molecular Biology/ Plant Biotechnology.
Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates.
2. Field Attendant 1no @ Rs.4000/- pm fixed. Candidates must have passed at least
Class VIII and have at least two years of field / research experience in ecological data collection. Preference will be given to male candidates.
