Young India’s Clarion Call: Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat

The nation resounded to the clarion call "EK Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" as young girls and boys in large numbers thronged the 21st National Youth Festival at Rohtak to celebrate the cultural diversity, rich cuisine and the military might of the Armed forces and Para military on display.  Haryana Chief Minister, Shri. Manohar lal Khattar inaugurated the Security Forces Exhibition asking the youth to spread the message of national unity and integrity across the length and breadth of the country.  "The National youth festival has provided an opportunity for the over  5000 young companions from across the country and the thousands of daily visitors from Haryana to experience the delights of a United India through informative exhibitions, cultural shows, folk performances and  food festivals at the venues",  Shri  Khattar  said in the inaugural speech.  He highlighted the positive  role of youth in realising the dream of Youth Led Development. Praising the youth for their enthusiastic participation in nation building the Chief minister  wished the youth success and a glorious future in every endeavour they undertake.

The Chief Minister of Haryana also offered floral tributes at the representative memorials erected at the exhibition venue in honour of members of the Armed forces and the Para military personnel who sacrificed their lives in their duty for the nation.

Director General of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Major General (Retd) Dilawar Singh said, the joint efforts of the Haryana government, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and the NYKS are behind the success of the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's words and the mantra of collectivity, connectivity and creativity has infused vigour among the youth and strengthened their resolve towards ensuring "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. Young visitors and participants enthusiastically shared the national pride of the armed forces the Army, Navy, Air force and the para-militiary forces at the Security forces Exhibition, a new addition at the annual Youth Festival this year.  "The exhibition reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice of the armed forces and para military personnel in protecting the borders", Major General Dilawar Singh said. The pledge administered by the Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Shri Vijay Goel, has strengthened the resolve among the young generation to fight against eradicating corruption.

 The training sessions imparted training to young visitors in cash less transactions at the National Youth Festival, another key event guided the youth towards achieving a Digital economy, to curb misuse of unaccounted cash. The exhibition on Swami Vivekananda at the national youth festival inspired the youth to scale new heights in their pursuit of excellence and nation building, the DG, NYKS said.  

 

Food was aplenty, so were the tastes of the diverse culinary delights from different corners of India at the food festival venue of the 21st National Youth festival. Young food enthusiasts devoured Gujarati Kadhi, Pav Bhaji, Masala dosas, the innumerable tastes from the length and breadth of the nation, including less spicy dishes from Nagaland as they experienced the varying cuisines of a great nation, India.Young India’s Clarion Call: Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat
