sir/madam i m graduate and doing mba from symbiosis so suggest me which type of course i should do along with it to have a better job in administration or account related department.

A job in the executive cadre in the corporate sector would be advisable. It could be in banking, insurance, retail, marketing, etc. Indicative examples. Since you don’t have any professional accounting training, there isn’t any reason to focus on an accounting department job.

I wanted to know if i do my MBA from Sikkim Manipal University (distance learning) in Goa will my degree be accepted by Government and private sector or do i have to do a full time course. Please guide me about the recognision of the course and the university.

The Private institutions judge your ability on their own. The govt. jobs are rare, so do not worry about the recognition of the course as it would be difficult to tell that under what regulation and name the course is being conducted.

You can take up MBA through any bachelor’s degree programme, including BBA. The scope after MBA is obviously more far reaching as compared to that of BBA. You should not expect BBA to be a substitute for MBA.

With your qualifications and your preferences for the government sector, you should continuously pursue employment news since most of the govt. job notifications are published in this paper. PSU’s, PSU banks and many of the Govt. jobs in the financial sector require qualifications of MBA (HR/Finance) and you should apply in response to such notifications.

I am complete my degree in economics hon. But in as am a science student with Math, Physics, Chemistry. But now am want to do Master of Arts [Rural Development, MARD] OR Master of Arts Public Administration[MPA] from IGNOU. But I am confuse which will give me better career prospect in West Bangal?

Neither of these courses would be instrumental in leading you the careers or jobs directly, especially when pursued through distance education and without the background of relevant work experience. It would make much more sense for you to pursue the rural development programme along with or after working with a rural development organization. Public administration leads to careers in the government or public service for which recruitment takes place usually through a competitive written examination not necessarily requiring knowledge of public administration.

I have completed my B. Sc (Botany Geology) from university of Lucknow with first division. I have been selected for admission in MBA (Petroleum Technology and Management) in university of Lucknow and M. Sci (applied Geology) in Aligarh Muslim University. Kindly reply earliest which course would be better for future prospects?

Since the two courses lead to different goals, you have to decide whether you are looking for a career in management through the MBA programme with sectoral specialization in the oil and gas sector or a career as a geologist. The decision should be based on an assessment of your abilities and personality. The difference lies primarily in the nature of work that you would be expected to get involved in after your post graduation. If you are ambivalent, and just keen on the employment potential, then you should survey the placement profile of these institutions/programmes and decide accordingly.
