On August 14, the nation observed Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas, a solemn day of remembering the horrors of partition. The President reflected on the immense suffering endured by millions who faced forced migration and loss of life. She conveyed solidarity with those whose families were torn apart and underscored the need to remember and learn from this tragic chapter in history.

As India celebrates the 75th year of its Constitution, the President praised the country's democratic journey.
